ACAD, CLDX, KNDI, SODA - Stock Charts to Watch
The stock market had a good day on Monday, and despite the lack of big movement from the indices, a lot of our stocks did great. Let’s take a look at some of those and see how they’re doing.
ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ACAD), one of our swing trades, after the big moves on Thursday and Friday, on Monday, it spiked up to 20.09, closing at 19.52, up 2.51, or 15%, on 15 million shares. It reached our swing trade target, and momentum tells me that this may be a mid-20’s stock. Look for a potential pullback possibility. If it does consolidate for a couple three days, maybe it will get moving again.
Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (CLDX) is looking good. It has channeled up nicely. On Monday, it was up another 81 cents, or 5.6%, on 3.6 million shares. That’s the biggest volume since April. Very good action. A bit of resistance at 16 3/4, which is the next target, and potentially it could get up to 18 3/4.
Kandi Technolgies Group, Inc. (KNDI) is unbelievable, and probably had the big move on Monday that we were looking for two years ago. It was an explosive move on positive news out of the Chinese government. This stock has gone from 3.70 to 8.29 in five sessions. On Monday, it was up 2.16, or 38%, on 9.4 million shares. With this breakout across, not only the high from last week, but on big volume, this stock could make it up to 9 1/2-10, even as high as 11 short-term.
SodaStream International Ltd. (SODA) had a monster move on rumors of a takeover by Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (COKE). This stick has been accelerating. It has gone from about 50 to 77-80, a 50% move, in the last four weeks. On Monday, it popped 3.59, or 5%, on 2.5 million shares. Although it’s reaching up to the all-time high at 70, and change, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this one get up to the mid-80’s. So keep an eye on it.
