OMER, SZYM, GDI, WCG - Stock Charts to Watch

It was a very lousy day in the stock market, so we’re going to go over both longs and shorts here.
Omeros Corporation (OMER) popped on Friday, and even with the lousy market on Monday, it still managed to move ahead 37 cents, or 3.13%, or 415,000 shares, which was the best volume in about 3 1/2 weeks. Let’s see if this stock can ignore the market and continue to move higher. Surely, it has broken out.
Solazyme, Inc. (SZYM), which had a very nice day in a lousy market on Monday, was up nearly 1.00, up 99 cents to 12.10, or 8.9% on over 1 million shares. That’s the biggest volume in about a month. There’s some resistance up ahead around 13, but look for the stock to make up around 13 1/2-1/4 short-term.
On the Short Side…
Gardner Denver Inc. (GDI) is at the bottom of the channel, and in danger of cracking. It had a flag the last four or five sessions, and on Monday it had a big reversal of 2.35 to 50.90. If it cracks here, it could get into the high 40’s.
WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (WCG) got hammered on Monday for 5.42 to 51.62, or 9.5%, jumping from 54.22 on a gap down to 51.55, closing at the low for the day. There’s some support below here, but it’s a lousy looking chart, indeed. After a little left shoulder-head-right shoulder broke, and retested, this stock has major support, which it may test on Tuesday. A crack at that and this stock should get down around 46 1/2 – 47, which is the next target.
