EXAS, KEYW, POZN, TSEM - Stock Charts to Watch
The stock market gapped up, pulled back, ran up, and backed off on Monday. It was a positive day. The next few days could be critical. Some of the stocks we follow and some of them we don’t moved nicely on Monday. Let’s take a look at a few of them.
Exact Sciences Corporation (EXAS) has had a great pattern over the last couple years. On Monday, it was up 1.40 to 30.69, or 4.8%, on 2.3 million shares. It has come up from the mid-single digits to over 30. It had a 5-wave move up, a pullback, and then another move up before it got to the top of the channel. It then came down and consolidated, and after the breakout, it tested successfully and then spiked. EXAS was up every day, but more importantly, on Monday it broke through multiple tops, and may be headed to the top of the channel at 39. The targets are 36 and 39 going forward. With 18.6 days t cover this could a beauty.
The KEYW Holding Corporation (KEYW) had an interesting day on Monday. It had a big surge, a pullback reversal, another retest, it formed a wedge, and on Monday it had another reversal, going from 10.29 to 11.20, nearly a point. It was up 83 cents to 11.12, or 8%, on 522,800. If it follows through here, the target is 14-14 1/2.
POZEN Inc. (POZN) has been fantastic, up 9 days in a row. On Monday it was up 87 cents to 12.44, or 7.5%, on 1.3 million shares. It may be over extended, and a 15, 17, 20-dollar stock down the road, maybe more. The targets are 16 1/2 and 19 going forward, and then we’ll see what happens after that.
Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TSEM) is doing well. It had a breakout on Friday, and on Monday it gapped and ran up to resistance, up 98 cents to 17.00, or 6%, on 1.1 million shares, closing at the highs for the day going away. Look for it to run up to 18-181/4, and if it gets through that, the secondary targets are at 22-23.
